Old Pictures

I was looking at pictures of Andy and I, growing up, and I am certain our kids are going to be so dang cute!! Here are a few of my favorite pictures of us (well mostly Andy) :

This one is my all time favorite!! I love Andy's face here!

He's so handsome...

hahaha he still dresses like this sometimes...

So cute with his cowboy boots that don't match and his shorts.

Hopefully our babies will be nice and chubby! :)

4 months to go!! (22/23 weeks pregnant)

Well it's December 1st, so here's another update on how big my belly is getting...

I had a doctors appointment this morning. It was another ultrasound, which is always fun. They weren't able to get a good view of her face last time, so that's what they were doing today. I was able to see her face, and her huge eyes! But everything looks great, and she's still a girl. :)

It's a GIRL!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's a GIRL!!!! (yes, most of you know it, but i wanted to put the news on here) We found out last Tuesday, November 3rd. We were SO EXCITED to FINALLY find out what we're having!

This is one of the pictures from the ultrasound. . As you can see, the legs are bent, right in front of the face. So the baby's big enough to be curled up!
The nurse said it's about 8-10 inches long! And I sure do feel those feet kicking a lot! :)

It still feels like a dream, that I'm having a girl. It's just kind of hard to believe, since I'm so use to hearing "It's a boy!", from my parents. :) But we are VERY excited!!

18 Weeks Pregnant!!

My dad wants me to start taking pictures of my belly, the 1st of every month (since the baby's due April 1st). So here you go:

*Sorry, I know these pictures are ugly...I had Andrew take like a million and then I finally just gave up, knowing they're not going to get any better. haha

P.S. We find out on TUESDAY if we're having a boy or girl!!!

Happy Halloween!!

We carved pumpkins last Monday for our FHE activity, and we had fun doing it. Andrew hasn't done it for a long time, but I think he did pretty good...

Andrew's pumkin (the Phantom), and my pumpkin (who knows?)

We went to a Halloween party at Doug and Kendra's house, and we made these AWESOME cupcakes for the "cake walk".

We went as baseball players...maybe next year we'll try a little harder on our costumes. :)

The "doughnuts on a string" game. Very funny to watch!

The weekend...

What a fun and busy weekend! Friday night we went to a Masquerade Ball, on campus. Doug and Kendra joined us because they're just awesome and it also made it easier to get Andy to go. :)

We dressed up and danced some. Thanks Andy for going!!

Saturday we had a ward activity. We went to the ropes course and had a great time! And there were yummy doughnuts too!

Dave Anderson

It was SO COLD!! Thankfully, the sun came out towards the end!!

Andy getting ready for the challenge...he did pretty good!

Saturday night we were going to have Chili and Cornbread for dinner. We were going to a magic show at 7pm, so I had an hour and a half to do everything. I called Paula to ask about her Chili Recipe (Andrew insisted on having his moms yummy chili), and I found out it takes a few hours to cook the Kidney beans, after you've soaked them overnight. Well I did soak them overnight, but I didn't know you have to cook them longer before you use them in something. :(

Mom, this is for you...the cornbread attempt #1 :)

I obviously forgot something...oh the main ingredient, Bisquick! :(

I got Andy to look at it, and he said there's something wrong with it...so he read over the ingredients out loud, just to see if I forgot anything. I did. I started crying because I used the last of the butter and I borrowed the eggs from our neighbors, and I just really wanted cornbread with the chili. Then he started LAUGHING!! He always laughs, which is good I guess, because I usually start laughing too- laughing and crying, which makes him laugh even harder. Oh the memorable times we have...

We went to the store later that night and got butter and eggs, and we ended up having Chili and Cornbread Sunday night for dinner...

We get to babysit Asher!!

An awesome couple in our ward, David and Emily, just had their baby about 2 weeks ago. His name is Asher Morgan. Emily is still going to school, so we've watched him a couple of times. We absolutely love him! He's so good!!

He sleeps most of the time and even when he's awake he's calm and just looks around. The perfect baby!! :)

SO CUTE!!

Conference Weekend

Conference weekend was great! We went to Utah and stayed with Andrews sisters; Leigh and her family Friday and Saturday, and visited with Jamie and her family Sunday. We had a great time with them!! Thanks!!

It was also my 1st time watching conference in the Conference center! We got tickets for the Saturday morning session, and we sat on the top balcony, about 10 rows back. What a neat experience though. I loved it when President Monson walked in. It was completely silent and everyone stood. Right then I knew even more that he is a true Prophet of God.

How grateful I am to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and to know that our family will be together forever. I am also grateful to have such an amazing husband who honors the Priesthood and who makes me so happy. I love my life!!

Being bored=getting creative

Dry erase markers become handy sometimes...

Yeah, we have fun together...

The Last of the Garden

Our 1st time having our own garden was very successful. We got tons of huge tomatoes, and the broccoli and cucumber surprisingly grew. Yumm!!

Tea Party!!

My neighbor, Jessica, threw a tea party, and invited a few girls...including me! :) We had it in our backyard, and it was AMAZING!! We had tea, of course, tiny sandwiches (sooo delicious!), cinnamon rolls (also very delicious!), and some fruit. It was seriously SO MUCH FUN!! We talked about girlie things, our husbands, etc... and ate!

(L-R) Emily, Sascha, Ryann, and Jessica

After the tea party, we went to Jessica's (in the front of the house) and made these awesome calendars. She has a vinyl business and is amazing at it! What a fun night!!

Our Garden!!

I've never had a garden before and wanted to try it. There was a little corner in our backyard that was full of weeds, so I was pretty sure it wasn't being used. Our landlord was fine with us using it. I had a great time planting everything with Andy too!

Our 5x5 Garden. Cucumbers are on the right, and tomatoes are in front.

Our yummy tomatoes!!

Green Beans are on the left (we got a lot of those!!), broccoli in the back, and carrots in the front. We didn't know we were only supposed to put one seed in each hole for the carrots...instead we put like 10. Bad idea!! We got back from Washington and there were like 10 baby carrots growing out of each hole! :) So we ended up pulling most of them out so the others could have room to grow. It's been exciting having a garden!

Monkey Rock

WE FINALLY MADE IT TO MONKEY ROCK!!...Thanks to the Anderson's!! There were 4 couples: Us, the Anderson's, Haralson's, and the Smith's (i think that's their last name...?)

Not the greatest picture...and I have no clue what they're doing. :) Maybe finding rocks?

Andy

Janelle and Dave...ooh they're sooo cute!!

The water was FREEZING!!!!! But it felt nice to cool off. And the guys had a fun time seeing who could throw the rock the furthest. Fun to watch!

Summer Fun with the Smith Family (Mid August, 2009)

We stayed with my family for about a week after the Oregon reunion. We went to the lake a lot, went tubing, played games...we had a great time with them!

The crazy man behind the wheel... ;)
