Spokane (June 11-15)

We had a fun day with Andrew's family on Saturday. We went out

to eat, went bowling, played games, and watched a movie.

Callie got blessed on Sunday, and the blessing was beautiful. Thanks

Grandma Ashley for making her dress. We love it!

Sunday night we went over to my grandma's house for a family

get-together. Here's a picture of Uncle Brady and the

Happy Birthday Andrew!!

Andrew turned 24 on Monday, May 31st.

My attempt at making cheese cake, for the 1st time... Remember my cornbread disaster last fall? Well this is another one of those stories, except I did all the ingredients right.

Long story short, I made this late Sunday night forgetting that it took a while to make. I told Andrew to put the oven temperature at 360 thinking that's what the recipe said to do...but later read it was supposed to be at 325. Ended up in tears, once again, while Andrew tried to make me feel better. :)

Andrew wanted shish kabobs for his birthday dinner. I made these for the 1st time as well and they turned out delicious! And the salad is called "Ensalada Mista". Every time we go to Twigs we always get this. It's the BEST SALAD EVER!!

The cheese cake turned out fine. I just scraped all the burnt stuff off the top and voila!

I found this recipe for decorative chocolate leaves. They turned out great (except for the one on the plate), but next time I'll leave them in the fridge longer.

I held Callie's hand up to the sign so she could kind of say something too. :)
