President's Day Weekend! (And some more pictures of what Callie's been up to!)

My family came here last weekend to visit us... well mainly to see Callie. ;) Thursday we had dinner and then went swimming at the hotel they were staying at. Friday my dad was sick most of the day, so we just hung out, went swimming, and played DANCE CENTRAL!! that we borrowed from our awesome friends! It was a ton of fun! And Zach and Brady (my 2 youngest brothers) stayed the night at our place. Saturday Andrew and I and my parents went to the temple, which was wonderful! I'm glad we were able to go with them. Saturday night my Aunt Liesl and her family came up from Utah for the rest of the weekend. Sunday we went to church and then everyone came over to our place for dinner. And then Monday we all hung out and played games here until they had to leave. I'm glad we were all able to see each other! It was a GREAT weekend!

Brady gave Callie a sucker...lets just say she LOVED IT!!!

I thought it was pretty funny how everyone is circled around Callie :)

Creeper Callie! haha I thought her hair looked funny when she woke up from her nap. (ps, I don't think my hair is really this dark)

Callie having fun playing with dad's slipper. :)

She's lifting herself up now! And this is how I found her last night! hahaha

Having fun playing with the drawers! What a cutie!

Update

Callie loves Sesame Street

She also loves sleeping on her stomach

Callie and her cousins (Sam, Jack, Charlie, and Luke). This was last week when we were in Utah for a baptism and a baby blessing. I wish I took more pictures. ps, I LOVE Lukes face in this picture. He's such a silly boy...

This is my cousin Olivia, holding Callie. Callie and I stayed at my Aunts house in Lehi, Utah while Andrew had an interview at the University of Washington. Callie was sick, with a 102* temperature and crying basically the whole time we were there, which was kind of a bummer. But at least she's feeling better now. Everyone was a HUGE help! I'm so glad I had their help, or else I probably would have gone crazy and cried the whole time.

Poor girl...

Our candlelit dinner we had on Valentines Day. If you look closely you can see the salad is a heart. I like to do things like this sometimes, especially to make Andrew laugh. And there's candy in the middle section of the glass thing with the candles. Swedish fish and fast breaks. YUM! :)

Okay are you ready to hear about dessert??! I was trying a new recipe for cinnamon rolls...I love the one's I've made before, but I heard these ones are AMAZING! Well everything was going great until I had to roll the dough out on the counter. Then I started getting frustrated because it was way too sticky, no matter how much flour I put on the counter/dough. And on top of that, I was using a glass because we don't have a rolling pin, which doesn't work the best. Anyways, after being frustrated and FINALLY getting the dough spread out, I poured melted butter on it, then sprinkled sugar, and then sprinkled GROUND CUMIN!, thinking it was ground cinnamon! UGH!! I showed Andrew, and yes you guessed it, he laughed REALLY HARD! I got teary-eyed, but this mistake was too funny to cry. So we both laughed pretty hard and I threw our Valentines treat away. At least we had candy! ;)

Emily's Visit!

Andrew's sister, Emily, came and stayed with us for a few days last week. We played games, and made a lot of yummy (unhealthy) food. The day before she left she got her hair colored brown! Her natural color is blonde, so that was fun, and it looks GREAT on her! And then we went on a walk around campus.

We went to the gardens on campus, which are covered in snow right now.

Still at the gardens...

Callie had a lot of fun with her Aunt Emily! She even made some funny faces and noises just for her!

And I finally colored my hair brown, after 1+ years of being afraid to do it, but wanting to SO BADLY! And it helped that Emily did it too! We had a lot of fun with you Emily! Thanks for coming to COLD Rexburg and visiting us!
