Andrew turned 24 on Monday, May 31st.
My attempt at making cheese cake, for the 1st time... Remember my cornbread disaster last fall? Well this is another one of those stories, except I did all the ingredients right.Long story short, I made this late Sunday night forgetting that it took a while to make. I told Andrew to put the oven temperature at 360 thinking that's what the recipe said to do...but later read it was supposed to be at 325. Ended up in tears, once again, while Andrew tried to make me feel better. :)
Andrew wanted shish kabobs for his birthday dinner. I made these for the 1st time as well and they turned out delicious! And the salad is called "Ensalada Mista". Every time we go to Twigs we always get this. It's the BEST SALAD EVER!!
The cheese cake turned out fine. I just scraped all the burnt stuff off the top and voila! 
I found this recipe for decorative chocolate leaves. They turned out great (except for the one on the plate), but next time I'll leave them in the fridge longer.
I held Callie's hand up to the sign so she could kind of say something too. :)

hahaha you try holding a baby up, making their hand flat, and tracing it all by yourself! :)
oops. I can't believe I forgot. First forgotten birthday in maybe 10 years.
so here's what i want to know. what exactly do you call the color of Callie's pacifier. Also, that meal looks wonderful. You should make it for me when I come visit.

the pacifier is a light yellow, like a baby/pale yellow!! i still disagree! :) also, if you come visit us, i will make that meal for you!
